The Foundation Certificate in Information Technology programme offers a unique pathway for students with G.C.E. Ordinary Level qualifications. The programme leads to a 2 year Higher Diploma programme which enables learners to enter a Degree program in a related field of specialization from a foreign affiliated degree programme either in Sri Lanka or abroad.
SLIIT Academy affiliated with Algoma University in Canada which offers direct pathway to transfer upon successful completion of the Foundation Program or Higher Diploma in IT after two years.
This is a full time one year programme offered during weekdays. Students who successfully complete the programme are eligible to receive the Foundation Certificate in IT with pathways to complete a degree in IT .
